Where to Find my Homemade Sourdough Bread around Surprise

Warmer weather has come and I’m not personally going to be at many Farmer’s markets around the Surprise area this Spring and Summer. I’ll resume doing markets again this fall when the weather gets milder. You can always order homemade sourdough breads and other sourdough products I make here on my website for pickup at my home bakery. My Home Bakery is located at:

How Healthy Is Sourdough? How to Make It and More

Here is an interesting evidence based article with some good information about sourdough, what it is, science behind it and how to make it.

The article, written by Alina Petre starts out saying:

“Sourdough relies on a mix of wild yeast and lactic acid bacteria, rather than baker’s yeast, to leaven the dough. It’s richer in nutrients, less likely to spike your blood sugar, contains lower amounts of gluten, and is generally easier to digest than bread made with baker’s yeast.”
